ABT launches sport packages for VW Multivan and California

Mooveo has introduced the All-in-One Full Alko trim for its fully integrated motorhomes. The INT-78 QBF Alko model, built on an Alko chassis, features a 300 Ah lithium battery, two 200 W solar panels and a 2000 W inverter. Pricing starts at €110,362; options such as a 4G router (€1,200) and awning with bike rack (€1,500) cost extra.

Westfalia has marked the production of its 600,000th motorhome at its Wiedenbrück plant. The milestone vehicle, a Club Joker Urban, was handed over to Belgian dealer Vanomobil. The company noted that the event does not overshadow ongoing difficult times and further challenges.

On the B252 near Diemelstadt-Rhoden (Waldeck-Frankenberg) on Friday afternoon, a head-on collision occurred between a car and a motorhome. Two car passengers died at the scene, and two other car occupants and the motorhome driver suffered life-threatening injuries.

According to an analysis by camping company Pincamp, a family overnight stay at a campsite in Lower Saxony during the low season averages 34 euros, 12% less than in summer. Across Germany, the off-season discount averages 11%, with the largest reduction in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern at 24%. Only Schleswig-Holstein (31 euros), Thuringia (32 euros) and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (33 euros) are cheaper than Lower Saxony, while the national average is 36 euros. German company Dethleffs has introduced its new premium Graneo line, with the first model, the Graneo A 6823-2, built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The motorhome measures 7.98 m long, 2.35 m wide and 3.42 m high, and is powered by a 190 hp engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It has a kerb weight of 4,190 kg and a maximum permissible mass of 5,500 kg. Standard equipment includes a 325 Ah LiFePO4 battery, a 3,600 W inverter and a 220 W solar panel. Options include a second battery for $5,500, a solar system for $2,100 and a ceramic toilet with macerator for $3,900. Water capacity comprises 232 litres fresh and 222 litres grey. The starting price is $187,000, rising to over $220,000 with all options.
