The country score (0–100) is computed from all of its cities, not a single point. Cities are grouped into regions, and a region's score is the median of its cities so dense clusters don't outweigh sparse ones. Final score = 0.65 × “best areas” (80th percentile of regions) + 0.35 × “typical conditions” (median of regions), so one warm city can't push the whole country to 100. Each city's score blends warmth (feels-like), sun, rain and wind, adjusted for night temperature and, on the coast, the sea. Data: Open-Meteo, refreshed several times a day.

Only four sites provide designated dog access to the lake: Camping Park Gohren, Schloss Kirchberg, Camping Seehorn, and Klausenhorn. At Markelfingen and Hegne, dogs are not allowed on the beach or in the water despite the lakeside location. Dog fees range from 3 to 6 euros per night, while Seehorn charges 5 Swiss francs. Most sites do not allow dogs in rental accommodation; Seehorn is an exception, permitting dogs in mobile homes and PODhouses for 10 Swiss francs per night.
German company ZIBMAK has introduced the modular Vario Keder adapter, which slides into an existing awning rail and adds two additional rails for attaching sun canopies, string lights, towel hooks, and other accessories. The device consists of 48 cm sections connected by joiners to achieve the desired length. Made of rigid PVC without plasticizers or fiberglass, the product is manufactured in Germany. It is available in red for €14.99 and grey for €16.65, including a connector. A VarioAdapter has also been released for the Volkswagen Multivan rail, enabling the use of accessories with a 6 mm diameter.

This involves using a VPN to connect the device to a server in the home country, or a VPN-capable mobile router, or a remote connection to a home Fritzbox router via WireGuard. Free VPN services have limitations on speed and data volume. Using a VPN is legal, but may violate the terms of service of streaming platforms.
In Vechelde, unknown persons broke into a parked motorhome by forcing open a window and stole a small amount of cash from the interior. The incident occurred on Königsberger Straße; according to police, the break-in happened after the previous afternoon. Vechelde police are seeking witnesses and ask to call 05302/93049-0.
Promobil has published a list of eight five-star campsites in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Italy and France that offer spa and wellness facilities. The selection includes Kur- & Feriencamping Holmernhof Dreiquellenbad in Bad Griesbach, Sportcamp Woferlgut in Bruck, Caravan Park Sexten in Sexten, Wirthshof Resort in Markdorf, Ferienparadies Schwarzwälder Hof in Seelbach, Vakantiepark De Twee Bruggen in Winterswijk, Camping Village Sylvamar in Labenne and Airotel de l'Océan in Lacanau-Océan. These sites provide thermal pools, saunas, massages, beauty treatments and water parks; some accommodate motorhomes over 8 metres long and have grey water disposal stations.
Bobingen's city council plans to examine the feasibility of a motorhome stopover. The facility is expected to attract tourists and increase municipal revenue, as well as support local restaurants and service businesses. No decision on implementation has been made yet.

Frankia has unveiled the Noctra Liner 8.3 L, a flagship motorhome measuring 8.45 metres and weighing 5.5 tonnes, built on a three-axle Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with Alko suspension. The model features a 150 hp four-cylinder engine paired with a 9-speed automatic, a 180-litre fresh water tank, a 150-litre waste water tank and a 92-litre fuel tank. The interior includes a lounge with two facing sofas, a kitchen with a compressor fridge and artificial stone worktop, a bathroom with a floor-level shower tray, and an optional drop-down bed increasing sleeping capacity to four. The base price starts at 164,000 euros.
