German company Dethleffs has introduced its new premium Graneo line, with the first model, the Graneo A 6823-2, built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The motorhome measures 7.98 m long, 2.35 m wide and 3.42 m high, and is powered by a 190 hp engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It has a kerb weight of 4,190 kg and a maximum permissible mass of 5,500 kg. Standard equipment includes a 325 Ah LiFePO4 battery, a 3,600 W inverter and a 220 W solar panel. Options include a second battery for $5,500, a solar system for $2,100 and a ceramic toilet with macerator for $3,900. Water capacity comprises 232 litres fresh and 222 litres grey. The starting price is $187,000, rising to over $220,000 with all options.
