Trigano

Winter awnings for motorhomes act as a climate and dirt lock before the living area and as storage for wet clothing and equipment. Roll-out awnings fitted to most motorhomes are not designed for snow loads: their supports and mechanisms freeze, and the fabric can be damaged when retracted. Awnings with a sturdy steel frame withstand such loads and create a thermal buffer zone. Practical Motorhome's sister title promobil published a market overview of winter awnings for motorhomes and camper vans priced from 499 to 1499 euros RRP. The overview includes the Dometic Winter Air PVC 180 (1249 euros) with an air-tube frame, the DWT Globus Plus (1125 euros), the Isabella Winter (1025 euros) with cold-resistant window film rated to –38 °C, the Trigano Nagano (499 euros) and the Wigo Inuit Polar (1499 euros).

Bedeo and Trigano have presented the ElectriX hybrid motorhome based on a Fiat Ducato chassis. The rear axle is driven by two 115 kW electric motors, while the front is powered by a 2.2-litre 140 hp MultiJet diesel; a 37 kWh battery is mounted under the floor. Electric-only range is up to 100 km, with a total range of 700–900 km. The premiere took place at the Paris leisure vehicle show on 12–18 October 2026, with a starting price of 99,990 euros.

Challenger, part of the Trigano group, has announced its 2027 motorhome lineup. Key additions include the compact X260 semi-integrated model, measuring 6.55 m long and 2.10 m wide on a Fiat Ducato 140 hp chassis, and the return of the 337 with twin beds, which is 20 cm shorter than the previous 317. The entire range receives the new Periand interior decor and IRP 360° insulation technology (except for camper vans). Prices for the X260 start at €73,990, the 337 at €72,990 on Fiat and €70,490 on Ford, and the integrated models at €80,990.

The 60th Salon du Véhicule de Loisirs runs from 26 September to 4 October 2026 at Paris-Le Bourget. 150 exhibitors and 650 models are expected.

Trigano reported revenue of €3.8 billion for the fiscal year ended 31 August 2026, up 3.8% from €3.66 billion a year earlier. Growth was driven by motorhome and caravan deliveries.

According to Statens vegvesen, 67,415 motorhomes are registered in Norway. Hymer tops the brand statistics with 6,545 vehicles, accounting for 9.7% of the fleet. It is followed by Bürstner (5,595) and Dethleffs (5,538), all part of the Hymer Group. Next are Challenger (4,323) and Adria (4,263) from the Trigano Group. 51 brands have more than 100 registered motorhomes, together covering 65,205 units, or 96.7% of the total. The remaining 176 brand entries have 100 or fewer vehicles each, totaling 2,210 units. The data reflects historical registrations and may contain inaccuracies due to changes in registration practices.

Trigano Group has launched Atom, a new UK camper brand. Sales are handled directly by Atom, while physical partners remain involved in viewing, handover and warranty work. The initial line-up comprises four versions based on the Volkswagen Crafter: the Atom 600B and 600G, both around six metres long and designed for two people, each available in Core and Element trims. Production takes place at Auto-Trail in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. The UK starting price is £61,940; a temporary launch price from £59,950 was also quoted. Orders are being taken in the UK only, with no European launch announced.

Trigano Group has introduced the Elnagh T-Loft 450 motorhome for the Spanish market. The model measures 6.99 m long, 2.35 m wide and 2.95 m high, and is based on a Fiat Ducato with a 2.2-litre 140 hp diesel engine paired with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission; a 180 hp diesel with automatic transmission is optional and adds more than €6,000 to the price. Standard equipment includes driver assistance systems, swivelling front seats, LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, a winter package, diesel heating and a 200 W solar panel. Pricing in Spain starts at around €73,000 excluding IEMDT.

British company Bedeo and French group Trigano have unveiled the ElectriX hybrid motorhome based on the Chausson X550 model. The powertrain features two 115 kW in-wheel motors, a 37 kWh battery under the floor, and a 140 hp 2.2-litre MultiJet diesel engine. Range reaches 900 km, with up to 100 km in fully electric mode. Pricing starts at 99,990 euros.

Trigano brand Panama is expanding its lineup with two camper vans based on the Renault Trafic: the R10 and R10 Limited Edition. Both models are offered in two pre-configured variants without a configurator. The R10 measures 5.08 m long, 2.05 m high, 2.28 m wide and has a kerb weight of 2450 kg. It is powered by a 2.0 dCi engine with 130 hp and manual transmission, and includes a reversing camera, lane keeping assist, 16-inch steel wheels, a lead-acid battery, a 185 W solar panel and an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Limited Edition adds 150 hp, automatic transmission, 17-inch wheels, a lithium battery, a 370 W solar panel, an inverter, a hot water boiler, a portable toilet, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and a premium Java Black interior. Both models feature polystyrene floor insulation and rock wool in the walls and tailgate, plus under-seat drawers and a side rear cabinet. Sales start in the 2027 season.

Panama Vans, a brand of the Trigano group, has introduced the Panama River R10 camper van based on the Renault Master. The base version costs 54,990 euros, while the Limited Edition is 58,990 euros. The Limited Edition features a 170-hp diesel engine and automatic transmission, and includes the Living pack with auxiliary heating, inverter, and other amenities. For comparison, the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo starts at 94,918 euros, and the Volkswagen California ranges from 75,000 to 85,000 euros. The camper is certified as a living vehicle.

French brand Mini Freestyle (Trigano Group) has unveiled the Silver 442 caravan with a pop-up roof and solid walls. When folded, it measures 1.96 m in height, 2.03 m in width, and weighs from 1,050 kg. At the touch of a button, the roof rises to 2.33 m, providing an interior headroom of 195 cm. The caravan features two single beds (195 cm long), a kitchen with sink, two-burner gas hob and compressor fridge, plus a toilet with washbasin and optional shower. Base price: €24,990.

In the first quarter of 2026, Tuscan motorhome exports rose by 5.5% to €252 million, signaling a recovery after a weak 2025. Growth was seen in Germany (+€20.7 million) and the Czech Republic (+€2.6 million), while shipments to the UK fell by €12.4 million. In Italy, 4,048 new motorhomes were registered in the first four months (+14.7%), while caravan sales declined by 1.2% to 169 units. In 2025, the Italian market grew by 10.5% (nearly 8,000 registrations), but Tuscan manufacturers, including Laika, Trigano, and GiottiLine, suffered from a 10.9% drop in exports.

Chausson, part of the Trigano Group, has unveiled the 640 Ultimate Line, a semi-integrated motorhome on a Fiat Ducato chassis measuring 696 cm. Designed primarily for couples, it features a maxi living area, an electric drop-down bed (190×160 cm), a pass-through bathroom, and a rear garage with asymmetric doors. Standard equipment includes cab air conditioning, ADAS safety systems, Connect pack, Webasto diesel heating, and all-season tires.

At the Trigano plant in Cusona (San Gimignano), daily production is expected to fall from 25–26 to 21–22 units. Of the 74 fixed-term contracts expiring at the end of July, 40 to 50 will not be renewed. Unions Fiom Cgil and Fim Cisl noted that this pattern occurs annually, linked to the seasonal slowdown before August holidays and autumn trade fairs.

The Trigano VDL plant in Tournon-sur-Rhône covers 200,000 m² and produces one motorhome every two minutes. Half of all motorhomes sold in France come from this site.

Trigano's Mediterranean subsidiaries have unveiled new models for the upcoming season. Mobilvetta introduced the Karys series on Fiat Ducato starting at €66,490, Panama launched the flagship P10+ on Ford Transit at €69,900 and the budget River 10 on Renault Master at €60,000, while Benimar updated its lineup with a 20–25 kg weight reduction and will premiere the Amphityron A 981 at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon.

French brand Mini Freestyle (part of Trigano) has unveiled updated Silver 380 and Silver 442 caravans for the 2027 season. The models feature a folding roof with solid walls instead of tent fabric, improving insulation and moisture resistance. The 4.88-meter Silver 442 is designed for two: longitudinal single beds (195 cm each) at the front, a dinette, kitchen, and a separate bathroom with optional shower at the rear. The roof raises electrically, side panels lock manually; height is 1.96 m folded and 2.33 m deployed. Price starts at €24,990.

French manufacturer Notin, part of the Trigano group, will unveil the new Envol model at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. This semi-integrated premium motorhome starts at €80,900 and targets first-time buyers of high-end RVs.

Karmann Mobil and Forster, part of the Trigano group, have announced updates for the upcoming season. Models Davis, Lifestyle, and Dexter feature wider aisles, deeper overhead lockers, lithium batteries with inverter and solar panels, and compressor fridges. Forster has redesigned interiors and exteriors, added new floorplans, and options like gas or diesel heating. Prices start at €48,900.
