Airstream is an American manufacturer of distinctive riveted aluminium travel trailers and motorhomes founded by Wally Byam in 1931. Its polished silver barrel-shaped silhouette is one of the most recognisable icons of American camping culture.

Airstream of Arkansas, Airstream's newest exclusive dealership, is now open in Conway, Arkansas. Operated by Moix RV, it marks Airstream's return to Arkansas after more than six years without dealership representation in the state. The dealership offers new Airstream travel trailers and touring coaches, plus a curated inventory of pre-owned units, expert service, and genuine Airstream parts. Significant facility and showroom improvements have been completed, with a grand opening event targeted for October 2026. It is located at 800 North Creek Drive, Conway, AR 72032.
Starting from July 2027, visitors will be able to stay at Samkani Camp on Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni. The boutique glamping experience by A&K Sanctuary will feature six architect-designed Airstream campers: five suites and one dining venue. Salar de Uyuni, located in Daniel Campos Province at an altitude of 3,656 metres, spans over 10,582 square kilometres. The camp will offer more than 30 experiences with a private guide and driver. Bookings are not yet open; those interested can register on A&K’s website.

In 2023, Studio FA Porsche and RV manufacturer Airstream unveiled a camper concept combining Porsche design cues with Airstream camper expertise. The concept features an aluminum body, pop-top roof, rear hatch that doubles as a platform, modular interior with kitchen, wet bath, and digital control center, and adjustable suspension for garage storage. Only a scale model was shown at US trade shows; no production version was ever built.

The 69th Airstream Club International rally in Minot, North Dakota, gathered 938 Airstream RVs and 1,834 attendees. Economic impact is estimated at over $2 million.
Airstream Club International (ACI) held its 69th International Rally in Minot, North Dakota, from Aug. 22-27, drawing 938 Airstreams and 1,834 attendees from 48 states, four Canadian provinces, and Germany to the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. Members donated over 26,000 food items and packed 2,300 food bags for the Souris Valley United Way's Backpack Buddies program, raising $40,330.49, including a $10,000 matching donation from the Minot Area Community Foundation. The next International Rally will be held in Rock Springs, Wyoming, June 26-July 1, 2027.
Elon Musk said on the All-In podcast that he is currently staying in an Airstream travel trailer in Memphis, where he is overseeing construction of the new xAI data center. Prices for such trailers in the US start at 54,000 euros, while larger, custom or limited-production models can exceed 210,000 euros. Musk has previously slept at Tesla factories and Twitter headquarters, and in 2021 he stayed in a Boxabl prefab home in Texas.

He said the trailer is located a few meters from his workplace. Musk has previously lived in a 37-square-meter prefab home near SpaceX's Starbase in Texas and slept at Twitter's San Francisco office. Airstream has produced its riveted aluminum trailers since 1931; in 1939 NASA used a modified Airstream to quarantine Apollo 11 astronauts.

A 20-foot single-axle 1965 Airstream Globe Trotter Land Yacht travel trailer is for sale out of La Pine, Oregon.
