A retired couple from Milton, Ontario, traveled roughly 3,800 miles towing a 28-foot Airstreamⓘ with a 2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali Max Range during a 72-day summer trip. They reported no roadside charging stop on 19 of their 29 travel days. About 60% of their charging energy came from campgrounds. Towing efficiency was about 1.17 miles per kWh, compared with 2.30 miles per kWh without the trailer. The couple had previously towed the Airstream with a Tesla Model Y but switched to the GMC for greater range between charges.
