Japanese owner Takuya Watanabe purchased a Toyota Land Cruiser 70 after a dealer informed him of availability, and later acquired a 20-foot Airstreamⓘ travel trailer. Watanabe had planned to buy the trailer at age 50 but did so earlier; he initially sought a 16-foot model, which sold before he could buy it, and instead chose a demo 20-foot trailer equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, shower and dinette. The Land Cruiser 70 features an iron bumper, larger BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, a roof rack and MOLLE panels, while the trailer carries a bicycle carrier.
