In the Czech Republic a caravan is registered as a separate vehicle with its own licence plate, so it needs its own compulsory third-party liability insurance. Compulsory cover typically costs CZK 600 to CZK 900 a year, while comprehensive insurance for a caravan worth CZK 400,000 to CZK 800,000 runs to roughly CZK 7,000 to CZK 12,000 a year. In a sample calculation for a 2020 Adria Aviva caravan valued at CZK 500,000, a Generali Direct policy with a CZK 50/50 million limit and a 5% excess (minimum CZK 5,000) costs CZK 10,702 a year, and an offer with a CZK 70/70 million limit and a CZK 7,000 excess costs CZK 13,386 a year. Comprehensive cover includes accident, theft, vandalism and natural disaster damage, and separate baggage insurance is recommended for equipment not permanently fixed in the caravan.

Adria has introduced the Altea Silver Edition caravan range, offered exclusively for the Benelux market. The models sit on an Al-Ko chassis with shock absorbers, reinforced corner steadies and a stabiliser coupling. Standard equipment includes a Dometic FreshJet 1700 air conditioning unit, electric underfloor heating, Evopore mattresses, a 50-litre fresh water tank and an external socket. Three layouts are available: Altea 492 PU (6.88 m, 1500 kg, €27,990), Altea 502 UL (7.10 m, 1500 kg, €28,990) and Altea 552 PK (7.60 m, 1700 kg, €29,990). First display models are being delivered to official Adria caravan dealers, with series production planned for spring.

Adria has unveiled the SuperTwin 4x4, described as the first large-volume camper van with all-wheel drive. The model was tested on a route of approximately 400 km along the Costa Brava, including unpaved roads, sand and cobbled sections. The test took place in Girona in late October 2026. The camper van serves as both transport and accommodation.

Visitors to the Belgian Mobicar 2026 show voted for their favourite caravans and motorhomes of 2027 across twelve categories. The categories are split by minimum and maximum price, which does not match the retail price in the Netherlands. In the caravan category, the Hobby Beachy 420+ won under 25,000 euros and the Adria Alpina 583 UL won from 25,000 euros. Among mini camper vans, the Dreamer Cap Easy took the under 70,000 euros category and the Westfalia Club Joker Urban won from 70,000 euros. In the camper van segment, the Adria Twin 600SLB won under 70,000 euros and the Ventje Volkswagen T7 won from 70,000 euros.

Oortgiese Campers in Baak is holding its annual autumn show from 30 October to 1 November on an 8000 m² site. The line-up includes new Etrusco and LMC models and one-year-old ex-rental motorhomes from Dethleffs, Etrusco, Carado, Adria and Bürstner. Buyers at the show receive a free storage space at the company for one year, and discounts on some models reach €8,000. The show runs from 10:00 to 16:00 at Dambroek 16A in Baak.

Distribution of the Slovenian brand Adria in France has moved to Krvacamp, a new Trigano group subsidiary named after the Krka river. Krvacamp will manage a network of around 60 French dealers. The 2027 catalogue keeps four ranges: Twin camper vans, Compact, Matrix and Coral semi-integrated motorhomes, and Sonic and Supersonic integrated models. Semi-integrated models now use a moulded EPP front cap that is 15 kg lighter. A pop-top roof is available as an option on nine of the twelve Twin models for €4,000.

Unknown persons stole a white Fiat Adria Sun Living motorhome from a car dealership site on Industriestrasse in Achim. The theft occurred between Saturday midday and Monday morning. Police are investigating the case as aggravated theft and ask witnesses to call 04202-9960.

The 19th Camping-cars Folies show, organised by Libertium, will take place from 12 to 16 November 2026 at Micropolis in Besançon. More than 180 motorhomes, camper vans and converted vans, new and used, will be on display from 15 brands including Adria, Benimar, Bürstner, Challenger, Edden Camp and Font Vendôme. The event will feature 2027 models first shown at the Paris show, special editions and market trends such as Mercedes chassis, compact coachbuilts and 4×4 vans. Entry is free with advance registration, and the show is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00 without a break.

Promobil compared the all-season caravans Adria Alpina 663 HT and Knaus Nordwind 660 PXB. The models' similarity is attributed to a senior manager's move from Slovenia to Bavaria and the Alpina's strong test results. Both caravans feature Alde C 3020 water heating and underfloor heating, but differ in body construction: the Nordwind uses aluminium, polystyrene and wooden battens, while the Alpina uses GRP, XPS and PU profiles. The Alpina's base price is 48,190 euros, the Nordwind's is 49,900 euros. Adria offers six floorplans, Knaus three.

The 2025 Adria Sonic Plus 700 SL seats four people with seat belts and offers five berths. Its maximum mass is 3500 kg, the kerb weight 3189 kg and the payload 311 kg.

ANWB juries have selected the Eura Mobil Activa One 650 HS as Camper of the Year 2021 and the Adria Adora as Caravan of the Year 2021. The winners were chosen from all new or significantly updated models for the 2021 season based on criteria including innovation, construction, materials, interior and exterior design, finish, equipment, originality, technical quality, usability and value for money. The Eura Mobil Activa One 650 HS is a 6.5-metre alcove camper with a fully bonded, wood-free body, double floor, sliding door separating the cab from the insulated living area, and winter camping capability; priced from € 72,950. The Adria Adora is available in eleven layouts, features aerodynamic details, a large front glass area extending onto the roof, improved storage with drawers, and an optimised bathroom; priced from € 23,995.

The 20th Motorhome, Camper Van and Converted Van Festival will take place from 8 to 11 October 2026 at the Parc des Expositions in Agen. More than 300 new and used vehicles from around 30 European brands, including Adria, Bürstner, Campérêve, Font Vendôme, Bavaria and Challenger, will be displayed across some 10,000 sq m. Caravans will be included for the first time, and commercial offers and financing solutions will be available. An anniversary evening with a Tahiti theme is scheduled for 10 October.

At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, manufacturers presented models for the 2027 season. The Adria Compact 2027 keeps a width of 2.12 m but gains a revised layout, while the Frankia Neo 6.6 H at 6.6 m long and 2.24 m wide offers a choice of bed configurations and a large rear kitchen. The Hymer B-ML on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter base and the Westfalia Columbus Liner with a three-level layout and optional energy packages aim to increase off-grid autonomy. All-wheel-drive Hymer ML-T 570 CrossOver and Grand Canyon S 600 CrossOver, plus the Adria Supertwin 4x4, expand the off-road segment. The VANTourer 600 D with its Variobad 2.0 system and the Adria Matrix 2027 with an electric lifting bed demonstrate interior flexibility. Electrification advances more slowly: the Dethleffs c.core on a Volkswagen Crafter base explores lightweight construction and energy management, while the Niesmann+Bischoff iSmove 2027 can be equipped with up to 600 Ah of lithium batteries and 660 W of solar power.

Camping-car Magazine has published a video roundup of four camper vans presented at the Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs in Le Bourget, Paris. The selection includes the Dreamer D43 UP (a compact 5.41-metre camper van with a transverse bed based on a 140 hp Peugeot Boxer), the Naeos V630G by Autostar (with an electric rear drop-down bed and a large storage garage), the Bürstner B66 644C (a show novelty featuring a rear U-shaped lounge with a drop-down bed above) and the Adria Supertwin 700 SGX PTR (a 4×4 camper van based on a 190 hp Mercedes Sprinter). The next SVDL show is scheduled for 25 September to 3 October 2027.

Three premieres were unveiled at the Kampeer en Caravan Jaarbeurs. The semi-integrated Dethleffs Trend Active Plus T 7057 EBL measures 7.41 m long, 2.33 m wide and 3 m high, and comes with a 140 hp Fiat Ducato with automatic transmission, automatic air conditioning, a digital cockpit, a 150 Ah lithium leisure battery with a 45 Ah charge booster, a panoramic roof window and a garage accessible from both sides. The Adria Altea Silver Edition 492 PU is nearly 7 m long (including drawbar) and 2.30 m wide, has a kerb weight of 1,175 kg and is aimed at couples with a fixed double bed at the front and a large rear dinette; the 552 PK is about 7.60 m long and 2.30 m wide, has a kerb weight of 1,190 kg and offers six berths thanks to a fixed bed, bunk beds and a convertible seating area. Both caravans have a standard payload of up to 1,500 kg, and the 552 PK can be upgraded to 1,700 kg.

In September and October, Slovenian motorhome and caravan dealers are holding in-house shows to present new models and offer promotions on stock and used vehicles. Caravan Center Ljubljana will hold its show from 1 to 3 October, Adria Center in Novo Mesto on 9–10 October, Vantrip Robeta in Brezovica pri Ljubljani from 15 to 17 October, and Vraničar avtodomi Ahorn in Maribor on 3 October. AMZS members are offered rental discounts: 5% for rentals of 3 to 5 days, and 10% for rentals of 7 days or more or during low season.

The Lume Ranger wins Caravan of the Year, while the Sunlight IBEX 4x4 takes Camper of the Year. The jury, chaired by Leo Diepemaat, judged innovation and ease of use.

Adria has unveiled the SuperTwin 700 SGX PTR, its first camper van based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with all-wheel drive. The model features a pop-up roof and measures 6.97 m long, 2.02 m wide and 2.89 m high. The base price is €162,900, while the exhibited unit is priced at €168,891.

Slovenian manufacturer Adria has updated its 2027 motorhome lineup, restructuring the range into two trim levels: Select and Supreme. Select versions are based on Citroën chassis with white bodywork, while Supreme versions use Fiat chassis with Artense grey bodywork and richer equipment. Key changes affect Compact, Coral and Matrix profiles: new profiling cap, Full LED rear lights on Supreme, standard compressor fridge, diesel heating, and increased use of expanded polypropylene (EPP) to reduce weight and improve insulation. The Compact DC returns at 6.99 m with a central bed and a width of 2.12 m. Prices for Twin camper vans start at €61,900 for Twin Select and €71,900 for Twin Supreme; Compact profiles start at €74,900. Prices are valid as of 15 September 2026 and may change during the year.

At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Concorde unveiled the new Centurion class with a modern oak interior, a large bathroom with macerator toilet and digital headlights; prices start at approximately 800,000 euros. The company also switched from Mastervolt to Victron for electrical systems and invested 10 million euros in a new service centre for its 45th anniversary. Frankia introduced the 8.3-metre Noctra Liner with tandem axle and the 6.99-metre Neo Liner with face-to-face layout and electric lift bed for two, while Dethleffs showed the c.core concept with solar panels in the awning, the new Graneo on Mercedes Sprinter with a 5.5-tonne chassis and the affordable Just Van. Rapido presented the V64 camper van with a completely new layout and pull-out table, Adria displayed the updated Alpina winter caravan, 2.50 metres wide in type 763 UK, and Bürstner exhibited the Habiton HMX 6.1, a 6-metre Mercedes camper van with a 2-metre-wide bed.
