A motorhome caught fire in the village of Mučići near Brodarica, Croatia, on March 14 at about 2:35 p.m. Firefighters contained the blaze by 4:30 p.m. One person was found dead; identity and cause of death are under investigation.
Rangers and nature conservation inspectors in Triglav National Park (Slovenia) are conducting patrols against wild camping. Offenders found in the evening are warned and redirected to designated areas, while morning checks result in penalties. The patrols also target illegal parking, disregard for traffic signs, and open fires.
Dacia has unveiled the Striker, a rugged estate car with raised ground clearance. At 462 cm, it is the longest model in the Dacia lineup. Boot capacity is 600 litres. Ground clearance is 19–20 cm. Three powertrains are offered: a 1.2-litre mild hybrid, a 1.8-litre full hybrid, and a 4x4 version with a 1.2-litre engine plus an electric motor on the rear axle. During a night storm on the Croatian island of Cres, a pine tree fell on a camper van in the Kovacine campsite, blocking the exit. Three firefighters used chainsaws to remove the tree. No injuries were reported.

From July 1, 2026, changes will take effect at parking lots at the foot of Maribor Pohorje. Parking for motorhomes at the Vzpenjača 2 lot will no longer be free for any ticket holders; hourly rates from the regular price list will apply. Free parking for cars remains for daily and seasonal ticket holders but excludes monthly cable car passes. Monthly rental prices at these lots will be equalized with city center rates.

A Slovenian family of four traveling in their motorhome named Luxi has recommended three destinations for trips with children. For a weekend getaway they suggest Nassfeld in Austria, for a five-day trip the Dolomites, and for a 10–14 day journey Switzerland via Italy with stops at alpine passes. The family notes that wild camping is prohibited in Slovenia and advises booking campsites in advance during peak season.
Audi has unveiled the fifth-generation A6 allroad. The model is now available with a hybrid powertrain for the first time. It retains all-wheel drive and increased ground clearance.
Kabe has introduced its first partially integrated motorhome with all-wheel drive, the Novum Traq 750 LGB. Based on the Mercedes Sprinter with selectable 4×4, the vehicle features increased ground clearance and off-road tires. The motorhome is 7.44 meters long with a gross vehicle weight of up to 4.1 tons. Inside, it offers longitudinal single beds at the rear that can be combined into a double bed, along with an insulated double floor and water tanks holding approximately 170 liters. The price is around 150,000 euros.
