Chinese company Vala has introduced a camper based on the electric Wuling Sunshine van. The vehicle measures less than 3.7 m long, 1.5 m wide and 1.9 m tall. A pop-up roof with an integrated tent doubles the sleeping capacity to four. Equipment includes a retractable screen and a pull-out shelf that operates only with the rear doors open. A V2L function allows powering appliances from a 30.6 kWh battery. Range is 305 km under the CLTC cycle. The motor produces 40 hp. The full package, including modifications, is priced below 100,000 yuan, while the Wuling Sunshine alone starts at 47,800 yuan.
At a campsite near the village of Malovše in the municipality of Ajdovščina, a 63-year-old Dutch citizen was repairing a bus converted into a motorhome after lifting it with a jack. At around 1 p.m., the vehicle slipped off the jack and pinned him underneath. Noise was heard by other people at the campsite, who came to his aid. Firefighters lifted the bus, and the injured man was pulled out and taken to Šempeter hospital.

The Vanna Camp Cubivan system is a sliding folding module that fits into an ordinary family van and, when deployed, creates a living unit with hard walls, a kitchen, a wet bath and a roof-mounted bedroom. The lower living space remains open, and the vehicle retains compact dimensions and driving characteristics at speeds up to 130 km/h. Official orders for the system will open in summer 2027; the manufacturer is using the time until launch to test the mechanisms in various weather conditions.

On Sunday in Nova Vas (Miren-Kostanjevica municipality), an unknown person broke the passenger door window of a car and stole a woman's handbag containing several hundred euros and personal documents. At the Vršič pass, a 59-year-old German citizen parked her VW Transporter motorhome for two minutes to take photos, and during that time a thief stole a bag with a wallet and documents. The damage amounted to about 300 euros. Police remind that even a short absence can lead to theft and advise not to leave valuables in vehicles.
Ljubljana has seen a rise in complaints about waste left by motorhome users at street parking areas. Motorhomes can officially park at P+R Dolgi most and P+R Stanežiče for up to 7 days at 15 euros per day, with water, electricity and waste disposal costing an additional 10 euros per day. The city inspectorate recorded 111 offences related to illegal waste disposal in 2025, but does not keep separate records by location.

Tourne Mobil has begun producing motorhomes at the Javor business zone in Pivka, Slovenia. The first motorhome built there was sold to a buyer in Hanover, Germany. The company purchased the eight-hectare site in March 2021. Currently, 42 workers transferred from Vrhnika are employed at the plant, with about five more hires planned. The model is positioned as an affordable option in the camper segment, with a similar version available from Chausson under the Sportline name.
Volkswagen has presented the electric motorhome ID. California Cruise, based on the ID. Buzz. It is expected to reach showrooms in 2028 with a starting price of 60,761 euros in Germany. The motorhome sleeps two people, with a bed measuring 2.03 meters long and 1.20 meters wide, and a nine-centimeter-thick foldable mattress. Standard equipment includes chairs, a table, blinds, and ventilation screens. Lighting, USB ports, and air conditioning can be used for up to 48 hours with the drive off. A vehicle-to-load (V2L) system provides up to 3.6 kW (continuous 2 kW) to power external devices such as a coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator, or e-bike. The rear-axle electric motor delivers 285 hp (210 kW). Two battery options are available: 79 kWh and 86 kWh. WLTP range is not yet announced but will likely be lower than the ID. Buzz's real-world figure of around 390 km. Weight is a challenge; it must stay under 3.5 tons to remain drivable with a standard license.
In Kranj, Slovenia, six motorhome parking spaces at Stara Sava were removed after the land was sold. An Italian motorhome got stuck today on the coastal road between Koper and Izola, which has been closed to motor traffic since 2017. Four foreign drivers in motorhomes and caravans completely blocked a road in the Slovenian village of Malija. Police fined each driver 200 euros. The incident occurred on Sunday around 12:55, when the road, intended for local traffic, was blocked. The cause was an influx of tourists from Germany and Switzerland returning from holidays.
