Australian manufacturer Trakka has unveiled the Trakkadu camper based on the Volkswagen Transporter T7. It is the first production solution on the T7 platform with this layout.
The model features a fully electric pop-up roof with a 48-volt power system and a new rear sofa bed. The layout retains a single sliding side door. Sleeping capacity is up to four people. The 5.34 m vehicle is equipped with 4Motion all-wheel drive and a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine producing 177 hp. It includes a portable toilet, an outdoor shower, a modular interior on rails, and solar panels rated at 390 W (optional up to 650 W).
Price in Australia is 162,000 Australian dollars.
