Fendt has unveiled the Tendenza 560 SFDW caravan for the 2027 model year. Measuring 772×250 cm and weighing 1545 kg, it offers four berths, standard ALDE water heating with floor warming, and a 157-litre compressor fridge. The base price starts at €44,470 including VAT.

Tests at the Bosch proving ground in Boxberg showed that when towing a caravan with an electric vehicle, consumption depends not only on the trailer's weight. A Tesla Model Y Performance and a diesel Škoda Karoq were compared with Fendt Bianco 495 SG and Next 380 caravans. At 100 km/h, the Tesla's consumption rose by about 35%, the diesel's by around 25%. The larger Fendt was more efficient than the smaller Next: at 100 km/h with the Next, the Tesla used 3.3 kWh/100 km more. At 80 km/h with the Fendt, the diesel cost 21.93 euros per 100 km, the Tesla 20.41 euros; electric range was about 200 km versus 500 km for the diesel.

German manufacturer Fendt has presented the layout of the Bianco Activ 445 SFB caravan. The trailer sleeps four: parents in a fixed French bed and children on a converted corner sofa. The model measures 6.77 m long and 2.32 m wide, has a kerb weight of 1,274 kg and a maximum mass optionally upgradeable to 1,500 kg. German manufacturer Fendt offers the Tendenza 515 SG caravan at a base price of 33,990 euros. With optional extras such as a fiberglass roof, air conditioning, and an awning, the test vehicle's price exceeds 50,000 euros. The model features seven-zone mattresses, adjustable slats, and ambient lighting. The manufacturer targets couples who spend extended periods traveling.

Auto Zeitung tested towing the Fendt Bianco caravan (weighing nearly 1.4 t) with a BMW X3 (about 400 hp) on Tyrolean roads. The route ran from the Ötztal valley to the Kühtai saddle (2020 m) and back towards Innsbruck. Towing requires getting used to the dimensions, but assistance systems such as the Truma Smart A mover (optional, €2,158) make maneuvering easier. The caravan offers more living space than a motorhome, and the tow car remains available for independent trips.

From September 5 to 13, 2026, Dordt Open in Dordrecht will showcase nearly all Hobby and Fendt caravans and motorhomes, including 2027 model year premieres. Highlights include the new Fendt Apero Activ 465 GE layout with two single beds, an updated Diamant interior, and the lightweight NEXT 381 family caravan. Hobby will refresh the exterior and interior of most caravans, and all campers and motorhomes will feature a new rear-view camera, new seats, and an automatic transmission with 160 hp. Admission and parking are free.

The Weser Kurier tested a Fendt Tendenza 550 SG caravan and a Hymer Yellowstone 601 motorhome. The caravan offered more comfort and lower cost: base price €35,880, sleeping for four, length 7.72 m. The motorhome, based on a Fiat Ducato, starts at €78,000, is easier to drive but less spacious. The choice depends on travel style: stationary camping favors the caravan, mobile trips favor the motorhome.

The rule that a caravan halves an EV's range is not absolute: small and light caravans can be more efficient. Tests showed that the 800 kg Next 380 consumed more energy with a Tesla Model Y than a heavier Fendt Bianco, due to aerodynamics.

Fendt has updated the Tendenza 515 SG for the 2026 model year. Changes are minimal: new upholstery, reading lamps, and expanded ambient lighting. The caravan sleeps 2+2, has a gross weight of 1700–2000 kg, dimensions 7.51/2.32/2.66 m, and a base price of €33,990.
