Carthago has unveiled its 2027 model year with refreshed design and enhanced comfort. The new models feature a hexagonal motif at the rear, LED lighting, and a black roof spoiler. German manufacturer Carthago has unveiled the C2 Tourer, a motorhome designed for families. It features a garage for a scooter and can be driven with a standard B-class driver's license.
The trend of buying or renting motorhomes, boosted by the coronavirus pandemic, remains strong in the Kleve district. According to the ADAC, around one million such vehicles were registered in Germany in 2025. Buyers can choose from a wide range of sizes and equipment levels. Many purchases are made in Kalkar, where dealer Wolters offers models such as Carthago.

Manufacturer RAVATHERM has introduced XPS (extruded polystyrene foam) as a core material for sandwich construction in walls, floors and roofs of caravans and motorhomes. The material features low water absorption, light weight and thermal insulation. XPS is up to 100 % recyclable. It is currently used by manufacturers including Morelo, Niesmann+Bischoff, Concorde, Pilot and Carthago.
