At the Caravan-Salon trade fair in Düsseldorf (August 28 – September 6), Carthago and its subsidiary brand Malibu will each present a new model. Carthago will expand the C2-Tourer with a new floor plan featuring a lounge area and longitudinal sofas, while Malibu will show the camper van Relax 640 LE XR with a pop-up bed and a new rear section. Prices for the new models will be announced at the fair.
According to Auto-Medienportal.net, Carthago will present the integrated C2-Tourer I 146 FF-RB-LE based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 7.3 meters long. For the first time, it offers a face-to-face seating group. In the Lightweight version, it stays within 3.5 tons; in the Comfort version, 4.2 tons. The Malibu Relax 640 LE XR, based on the Fiat Ducatoⓘ, features an electrically raising bed that creates a cargo space 1.45 meters high. The price is around 63,000 euros, which is 3,500 euros more than the previous model.
