Signs prohibiting campervan traffic have been installed in a large part of the resort town of Palanga. A family from Vilnius arriving in a campervan encountered the restriction. Resort officials say the signs are intended to prevent campervans from entering residential areas and coastal forests, which are not suitable for recreation with such vehicles.

The vehicle features reinforced suspension, 300 mm of ground clearance, 35-inch Toyo Open Country tires, steel bumpers, underbody protection, a winch, and a snorkel. On Wednesday, a pre-trial investigation was launched at the Mazeikiai district police commissariat over a camper theft committed on Tuesday. According to preliminary police data, the camper, valued at 16,000 euros, was parked near the Baltic Petroleum gas station in Tirkšliai. On Tuesday morning, firefighters responded to a fire in a frame garage in Dercekliai village, Priekulė eldership. The garage was already engulfed in flames, and the roof of one bay collapsed. A camper, a Toyota car, a BMW motorcycle, a Vespa scooter, and household items were destroyed. In an adjacent garage, walls were damaged and a camper was scorched.

On Wednesday, August 5, a fire broke out at a car dealership on Liepu Street in Klaipeda, destroying a Cantara caravan by Dutch company Chateau and damaging two cars. The fire was extinguished by 14:48, and a 10-liter gas cylinder was removed from the caravan. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
On Monday around noon, a camper van burned down in the Kaišiadorys district of Lithuania. The fire also damaged an outdoor kitchen that caught fire from the flames.

According to data from the company 'Kemperiai 365', the buyer profile has shifted: more people over 60, who have sold their homes or businesses, are buying premium campers for extended winter trips to Spain or Portugal. Premium German brands such as Malibu Carthago, Hymer, and Adria are gaining popularity. Modern engineering allows fully integrated campers to stay under 3.5 tonnes, making them drivable with a standard B-category license. High-end campers depreciate by only about €4,000 per year.
