French company Borel, in collaboration with body manufacturer Romturingia, has developed a pickup version of the current Dacia Duster. Two variants are available: a four-seater with two rows of seats in the cabin for 38,900 euros, and a two-seater with an extended flatbed measuring 1.65 metres and a maximum payload of 430 kilograms for around 37,900 euros. Both versions are approximately 30 percent more expensive than the standard Duster in Journey trim. A detachable camper module is offered for the two-seater: with the roof raised, the vehicle stands 2.10 metres tall, and equipment includes a 150 x 190 cm bed, a 25-litre refrigerator, a stove, a sink with a 32-litre tank, a six-litre water heater, a cassette toilet, gas heating, a table, two chairs, exterior lighting and additional storage space. Power comes from a 1.2-litre mild hybrid producing 150 hp, with all-wheel drive. The Duster pickup is currently available only in the French market.
A new EU directive (2025/2205) permits category B licence holders to drive motorhomes with a maximum mass of up to 4,250 kg, and up to 5,000 kg when combined with a trailer. Additional training or a separate test will be required, and the right will be marked with code 96.02. The standard 3,500 kg limit remains, but the extension provides a 750 kg margin for heavier models.

A camper owner from the Ravenna area handed over his vehicle to a buyer who presented a fake instant bank transfer receipt. The money never arrived, and the camper soon appeared on an online marketplace at 27,000 euros instead of the agreed 50,000. German manufacturer Morelo, based in Schliesselfeld, has overhauled its line of luxury motorhomes. The flagship Grand Empire version is priced at 800,000 euros. The 18-tonne motorhome is built on a Mercedes Actros chassis with a 12.8-litre inline-six engine producing up to 530 hp and 2,800 Nm of torque. Fuel capacity is 500 litres, and a full tank at current prices costs about 1,150 euros. Inside, the company has dropped gold trim and decorative details in favour of light colours and brushed aluminium. Standard equipment includes a king-size bed, rain shower, heated floor, induction hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, 900 W solar panels and four 800 Ah batteries. A heated garage can accommodate a small car. The company employs 430 people and builds around 500 motorhomes per year; revenue is 165 million euros with profit just over 100,000 euros. Buyers are mainly professionals, rental companies, event organisers and racing teams, including Formula 1 clients.

The Zlatibor campsite has reopened for the spring season. In April and during the May Day holidays it hosted individual tourists, while the first organised group — motorhomes from the Dutch association ACSI — arrived on 5 May. Small Vans Big World has converted a 2026 Toyota Sienna into a micro-camper that looks almost identical to a standard family minivan from the outside. Inside, it features a 2.43-meter bed, a kitchen, a refrigerator, and a toilet, while retaining one factory passenger seat in the second row.
