Small Vans Big World has converted a 2026 Toyota Sienna into a micro-camper that looks almost identical to a standard family minivan from the outside. Inside, it features a 2.43-meter bed, a kitchen, a refrigerator, and a toilet, while retaining one factory passenger seat in the second row. The conversion costs approximately $20,000, excluding the vehicle itself. All 2026 Sienna models are hybrids with 245 hp, achieving up to 36 mpg in combined driving for the front-wheel-drive version.

British converter Wellhouse Leisure has begun offering micro campers based on used Suzuki Solio vehicles and their twins Mitsubishi Delica D:2, imported from Japan. The body is only 3790 mm long and retains three seats, but sleeping space is provided for only one person. In Wellhouse's current catalog, the Solio conversion is listed from £19,500. Standard equipment includes a kitchen, solar panel, 2 kW heater, and a pop-up roof.

The Vrele Gume team traveled 11,237 km by motorhome through 15 countries, from Serbia to the Sahara and Scandinavia, and calculated the costs. Renting a motorhome costs €100–160 per day, campsites range from €15 in Morocco to over €100 in Croatia, and diesel and tolls can add up to €300 per day for two people. The authors note that Germany has a well-developed Stellplatz network, while Serbia lacks motorhome infrastructure.
