Connor, an American who quit his job and sold his house two years ago to travel the world in a Lamborghini Urus converted into a camper, has entered Russia. At the border, he was questioned about his intentions and political views before being allowed in. In Russia, he faced difficulties with local SIM cards, navigation, and bank cards. Connor plans to complete nine challenges, including taking a photo on Red Square and meeting Putin.

Yaroslav Andrianov, head of the Armavir-based brand KamperPilot, said his Start-series camper modules cost 1.6 million rubles, while the market minimum is 2.2 million rubles. The company has sold 11 modules in two years, six of them turnkey. Production is localized in Armavir, with 70% local content, set to rise to 90% after in-house sandwich panel production begins. Russia's first GOST for camper modules takes effect on August 1, and the company says it already complies.

The interior includes a 243x61 cm bed, a kitchen with sink and stove, a refrigerator, and a toilet. The conversion costs about $20,000, while a new vehicle starts at $40,820. The project is built to order and takes 2-3 weeks. All 2026 Sienna models are hybrids with 245 hp and fuel economy up to 36 mpg.

An integrated Panda Mia motorhome built on a 2021 Gazelle Next with 7,500 km on the odometer has been listed for sale in Novosibirsk. The vehicle previously served as a mobile medical unit for COVID-19 testing and was later converted into living quarters for five people. It features a kitchen with a gas stove, a 55-liter refrigerator, a bathroom with shower and portable toilet, 600 W solar panels, an inverter, and a 100 Ah battery. The 2.7-liter diesel engine produces 150 hp, and the vehicle can be driven with a standard category B license.

Water for the motorhome had to be poured manually, as campsites refused the service even for a fee. She also noted the large number of tourists, making it hard to find a spot with a view. The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has presented a motorhome named 'Mir', built to order for a European client. The vehicle is based on the SGR platform used for UAZ commercial vehicles and features a distinctive design with space-themed imagery and a portrait of Yuri Gagarin. Technical specifications, equipment, and price have not been disclosed. For the Russian market, UAZ has announced the 'Baikal' model on the same base, equipped with a kitchen module and sleeping areas.
