Romania lags significantly behind the EU average for overnight stays in campsites and motorhomes. In 2025, the country recorded only 312,239 overnight stays, accounting for 1.05% of total tourist accommodation nights, while the EU average exceeds 13%. Interest among Romanians in this type of holiday has not increased over the past decade.

It is designed for all-season use, features a reinforced carcass for heavy loads, and carries A ratings for wet grip and noise, along with a B rating for rolling resistance.
