The TsRRO members, authorized only to collect membership fees for fishing, stated they never demand a caravan fee. They urged citizens to ask for identification and report suspicious individuals to 112.

A major fire broke out on the afternoon of July 4, 2026, near Chernomorets, Bulgaria. The blaze destroyed several bungalows and a caravan; tourists were evacuated, no injuries reported. The cause is under investigation.

Diesel engines are generally more convenient, as they achieve good traction at 1300–1800 rpm, while naturally aspirated petrol engines often come alive closer to 2500–3500 rpm. For a trailer weighing about 1 ton and a car weighing about 2 tons, a torque of at least 300–350 Nm in a wide range is desirable. The transmission also matters: a classic automatic with a torque converter handles loads better than a CVT or a dual-clutch robot. It is recommended to use no more than 3/4 of the manufacturer's maximum trailer load capacity.

The 9th edition of the national rock festival Hotnish will take place on August 28–29, 2026, near the medieval Hotnish fortress in Sevlievo. Admission to all concerts is free.
