Romania lags significantly behind the EU average for overnight stays in campsites and motorhomes. In 2025, the country recorded only 312,239 overnight stays, accounting for 1.05% of total tourist accommodation nights, while the EU average exceeds 13%. Interest among Romanians in this type of holiday has not increased over the past decade.

Bridgestone has introduced its first tire for motorhomes, the Duravis Camper All Season. The CP-marked tire will be available in four sizes for 15- and 16-inch rims starting June 2026. It is designed for all-season use, features a reinforced carcass for heavy loads, and carries A ratings for wet grip and noise, along with a B rating for rolling resistance.

Dacia has introduced a new awning for its InNature accessory lineup, compatible with Bigster, Duster, Jogger and Sandero Stepway models. The Sleep Pack with deployable double bed, blackout shades and optional tent costs £2090, creating a micro-camper based on the Bigster for £27855.
