A dinette is a booth-style seating area in a motorhome or caravan featuring a fixed table flanked by facing bench seats, which typically converts into a bed by lowering the table to seat level.
The dinette is one of the most common motorhome layouts. Conversion typically takes 2–3 minutes. Some modern motorhomes replace the traditional dinette with a fixed island bed and a separate lounge area.
