The Ibiza City Council completed the dismantling of an illegal caravan settlement in Sa Joveria on Wednesday, where dozens of people lived due to the lack of affordable housing on the island. Most residents paid rent for their caravans but left voluntarily to avoid potential legal claims. On Tuesday, municipal crews used cranes to remove about ten remaining caravans to the municipal depot. Between 10 and 12 people were still at the site on Tuesday without knowing where to go; social services offered to pay the first month's rent or a deposit for a room.

Spain has updated its technical inspection (ITV) rules, which apply differently to motorhomes (category M) and camper vans (category N). Motorhomes require their first ITV after 4 years from registration, then every 2 years, and annually after 10 years. Camper vans must pass ITV annually from registration, and every 6 months after 10 years, increasing costs and time commitments.

The municipality of Lascuarre (Huesca, Spain) has opened a new motorhome service area with 20 parking spaces. Located near the local leisure and sports zone, it features a grey water disposal point, water supply, and solar-powered lighting. The area is currently free of charge. The project was funded by the Ribagorza Sustainable Tourism Plan.

The number of people living in motorhomes, campervans, and caravans in Málaga is rising due to unaffordable rents. Spontaneous settlements have formed across the city, the largest in Sacaba with about a hundred vehicles. Many residents have steady jobs but cannot afford rental housing. A black market for van rentals has emerged, charging €300–400 per month without utilities or contracts.

A new Mobility and Traffic Ordinance has come into force in Tres Cantos (Madrid), imposing parking restrictions on motorhomes and caravans. Under the ordinance, these vehicles may only park in a designated area on Ronda de Valdecarrizo, with a maximum continuous stay of 15 calendar days. A group of residents and users have publicly opposed the measures, arguing they are discriminatory, and are preparing legal challenges while calling for a public debate on the regulation.

Spanish manufacturer Benimar offers the Tessoro 481 as the most affordable new motorhome on the Spanish market. Prices start at €61,000 and can reach €70,000 with optional extras. The motorhome is built on a Ford Transit Euro 6 chassis with a 130 hp diesel engine and 6-speed manual transmission. Inside, it features a compact 5.99 m layout with sleeping for four, a kitchen, shower, and Webasto diesel heating. The model reflects a broader price increase in the sector: a decade ago new motorhomes cost around €40,000, while today the entry point is €60,000.
