The municipality of Sacedón (Spain) has allocated €348,653.86 to build a motorhome stopover by the Entrepeñas reservoir. The 9,349 sq m site is located on Camino de la Playa street, with access from the same street for safety. The area will feature 36 pitches measuring 8×4.5 m, grey and black water disposal points, drinking water, toilets (including accessible ones), lighting and green areas.
Construction is expected to take four months. The project is funded by the regional government of Castilla-La Mancha and aims to attract the growing number of motorhome travellers. According to sector estimates, Spain lacks about 2,000 such facilities to meet the demand for motorhome tourism.
