The People's Party (PP) municipal group in Almendralejo has called for urgent action to improve the rest and parking area for motorhomes on Clara Campoamor Street. Built in 2022 at a cost of over €80,000, the facility is reportedly deteriorating and lacks proper maintenance. The PP proposes restoring water supply, grey water drainage, and waste tank emptying, as well as renewing signage, adding hot water via natural gas, and installing shaded areas and picnic spots. The motion was backed by VOX but rejected by the PSOE majority, which argued it was insufficiently justified, noted that the original project did not include electrical hookups, and stated that water was cut off due to misuse.
