Georges (76) and Evelyne (74) from Blois, Loir-et-Cher, after eight years of using a heavy motorhome Bavaria Fjord 710 on a Fiat Ducatoⓘ chassis weighing 4.25 t with an Al-Koⓘ chassis, in 2019 purchased a new van Globecar Summit 640 based on a Citroën Jumper with 140 hp and a length of 6.36 m. This is their seventh motorhome.

The switch was driven by size restrictions: Evelyne said she "was constantly stressed when arriving in certain villages", while Georges noted they "were not allowed everywhere". The new van kept single beds of comparable length and considerable storage space, but required more careful organisation and reduced payload — they now carry bicycles and consider a rack for them practically essential. The couple does not consider themselves vanlifers, does not rule out returning to a more spacious motorhome and says there is no single ideal size. They share their travels on YouTube, where Georges has over 4,300 subscribers.
