Growing discontent at Villas Caravaning camping over community management and lack of owners' meetings

Residents of the Villas Caravaning campsite in Cartagena have proposed installing individual water meters to prevent a cut-off due to a debt of over €700,000. Concessionaire Veolia announced the suspension of supply over non-payment, and a proposed payment plan was not accepted. The city council will study the feasibility of individual meters to separate residents' responsibility.

The political group Fuerteventura Avanza has submitted a proposal to the Puerto del Rosario city council to create a municipal service area for motorhomes, caravans, and camper vans. The facility would include grey and black water dumping, fresh water supply, and waste management.
