A pitch is an individual marked spot on a campsite, caravan park or RV park for a single motorhome, campervan, caravan or tent. Standard European (especially British) usage: "pitch for the night", "pitch fee", "book a pitch". In the US the same unit is more often called a "site" or "space".
Sizes range from 6×8 m for a small campervan in the UK up to 25×12 m for a big-rig RV with a tow car in the US. Types: grass pitch, hardstanding pitch (paved/gravel), super pitch (full hookup, sometimes a private wet room). European prices: €15–80/night depending on season, location and services. ACSI and Pitchup.com are the biggest platforms for finding and booking pitches.
