Campsite, camping area, forest campground, national park campground, tent campground
A campground is a general North American term for a camping place, ranging from a forest site with a fire ring to a fully serviced campground with showers and hookups.
A campground does not always mean motorhome services: some sites fit only tents or short RVs, and dump stations or hookups may be absent. Check maximum length, surface type and generator rules before arrival.
