The European Safety Gate system has reported recalls for motorhomes from seven brands within the Erwin Hymer Group: Bürstner, Corigon, Dethleffs, Etrusco, Hymerⓘ, Laika, and LMC. The issue is a defective weld on the ISOFIX bracket, which may fail in a crash and increase the risk of injury to a child. The recall covers vehicles built from January 1, 2018, to May 1, 2026; the exact number of affected units has not been disclosed.
