A review of new 2027 model year motorhomes and campervans has identified five key trends. These include the three-storey Westfalia Columbus Liner with an optional roof terrace, central-bed campervans from Rapido and Campérêve, the La Strada Avanti R with a rear lounge and electric bed, and the Bürstner Habiton 6.1 with a full-length body extension. Other trends noted are coloured and special editions (Laika, Hymer, Eura Mobil), off-road versions (Carado, Sunlight, Pössl), redesigned interiors (Mobilvetta, Autostar) and new compact models (McLouis, Chausson, Dethleffs, Roller Team).

Italian manufacturer Laika has presented the Kreos Integrale H 5109 MB at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf 2026, the first model in its Kreos range to be built exclusively on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 417 chassis. The motorhome features a 170 hp engine, 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, and AL-KO chassis. Interior trim includes walnut wood and eco-leather, with three exterior design options developed by GFG Style. The vehicle offers a kitchen with three burners and a 153-liter refrigerator, a separate bathroom with shower, two sleeping areas, and a 25 cm double floor.
The promobil editorial team selected seven notable exhibits from Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf. Among them are the new Laika Kreos integral motorhome based on the Mercedes Sprinter with design by Giorgetto Giugiaro (from €169,990), the electric camper Eifelland Relax on the Nissan Interstar-e with a real-world range of about 300 km (approx. €90,000), and the Giottiline Siena 340 low-profile motorhome with a drop-down bed (from €62,000). Also highlighted are the Dethleffs Graneo A 6823-2 on a Mercedes Sprinter 519 CDI (from €169,999), the Offtrack Verge with a distinctive design (from €180,000), and the Westfalia Columbus Liner with an innovative roof concept.

Laika has introduced two new campervan ranges for 2027: Ecovip Evoluzione and Ecovip Performance, comprising five models in total, all based on the Fiat Ducato. The Evoluzione series includes models 540 and 600, while Performance consists of 540, 600, and 645. All vehicles come with automatic transmission, a standard gross weight of 3,500 kg, and an optional 4,250 kg. Standard equipment includes automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, rear-view camera, 150 Ah lithium battery, and 6 kW diesel heater. Models 540 and 600 feature a rotating bathroom with a separate shower. Prices in Norway start at NOK 1,073,600 for Evoluzione and NOK 1,124,300 for Performance.
At the Caravan-Salon in Düsseldorf, new flagship motorhomes were presented. Among them are the Kabe Imperial Traq 830 (from €260,000), the Eura Xtura 656 (from €183,000), and the Laika Kreos 8.08. Also shown was the Dethleffs A6823-2 with a gross weight of 5.5 tonnes.

The event will feature the Hymer, Carado, Eriba, Laika and LMC brands, with the French premiere of the Hymer ML-T 570 Xperience 2x2 and Eriba Car 600. Italian camper manufacturer Laika has unveiled the Ecovip Evoluzione, based on the Fiat Ducato 35 Light. The camper features a rotating partition and foldable sink that convert the bathroom into a separate shower area with wooden trim and a rain shower. Available in two lengths, 5.41 m (540) and 5.99 m (600), it is powered by a 140 hp Euro 6e engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The starting price in the Netherlands is €92,679 for the 540 model.

Fresh water tank capacity is 170 liters, waste water tank is 146 liters. Some functions can be controlled via smartphone.
