The 59th Mobicar exhibition dedicated to caravans and motorhomes has opened at Brussels Expo. It runs from 8 to 11 October.

According to the Belgian Caravanning and Camping Association (BCCMA), 4,754 new motorhomes and caravans were registered in Belgium in the first seven months of 2026, up 9.9% compared with the same period in 2025. According to Source 1, registrations of new motorhomes rose 9.4% and caravans 13%; by the end of July, 4,022 new motorhomes and 732 caravans were registered.
Prices and buyers
A new motorhome costs between 80,000 and 100,000 euros, a caravan between 30,000 and 40,000 euros. 35% of motorhome buyers and 40% of camper buyers are first-time buyers; among caravan buyers, the share of newcomers is 15%. 90% of purchases are financed fully or partially.
