From January to the end of July 2026, Belgium registered 4,754 new recreational vehicles, a 9.9% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Motorhome registrations rose 9.4% (to 4,022), while caravans increased 13.0% (to 732).
According to a BCCMA survey, 40% of camper buyers and 35% of motorhome buyers are first-time purchasers. The average price of a new motorhome is €80,000–100,000, and a caravan €30,000–40,000. 90% of purchases are fully or partially financed, and 99% of transactions take place through official dealers.
The Mobicar 2026 exhibition will be held in Brussels from October 8 to 11.
