KABE has presented the world's first fully integrated 4x4 motorhome on a complete Mercedes 4x4 chassis. Previous all-wheel-drive KABE models were built with chassis supplier Meijer because Mercedes did not offer a 4x4 option at the time. The new motorhome can tow a 1,980 kg trailer. The four-wheel drive is intended for towing heavy trailers and handling difficult campsite conditions such as wet grass, ice or snow. The 4x4 version features an off-road package with black accents, tracks-profile tires, a black awning and a light bar; at the rear it has a single axle with dual wheels.
