On Saturday, a motorhome overturned on the Primorska motorway. Emergency services responded; firefighters from PGD Cerknica secured the scene, provided fire protection, and assisted in clearing the aftermath. Drivers were advised to exercise caution and adjust their speed to road conditions.
Motorhomes have been placed at the former border crossing in Rožna Dolina, which Italian police will use for internal border control from June 28 to July 15. Toyota has unveiled the bZ4X Touring, an electric SUV-wagon aimed at families and outdoor enthusiasts. In Slovenia, near Log pod Mangartom, a 22-year-old German motorcyclist collided with a VW Crafter motorhome. Police report that the motorcyclist lost control due to excessive speed, fell onto the road, and hit the oncoming motorhome. The victim, with multiple injuries (fractured ankles, pelvic and femur damage), was airlifted by military helicopter to the Ljubljana Clinical Centre.
This afternoon, about 200 meters outside the settlement of Log pod Mangartom, a traffic accident occurred between a motorcyclist and a motorhome driver. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries, likely a broken leg. Rescuers, firefighters, and police responded; the road was temporarily closed. Circumstances are under investigation.
