Benchmark Vehicles of Portland, Oregon, has built the 143, a camper based on a four-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 XD. The 2026 model-year vehicle has a 4.32-metre wheelbase and is fitted with Owl Vans Talon wheels and BFGoodrich KO3 all-terrain tyres, an Agile Offroad suspension upgrade with Fox dampers and Bilstein struts, and a 151-litre S&B fuel tank. The rear holds a king-size bed above a garage with a heavy-duty pull-out tray. Electrical equipment includes a 3,000 W inverter and a battery bank of almost 1,000 Ah, while an Espar diesel heater warms air, water and the floor. Fresh water is stored in a 132-litre tank with heating mats, and two waste tanks are also heated.

Australian company Summit Vans from Wollongong has unveiled the King Tide, a converted Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2026 model year with four-wheel drive. The vehicle features an upgraded suspension that raises the permissible gross weight from 4,100 kg to 4,430 kg, along with adjustable Falcon shock absorbers and a 200-watt solar panel. The rear section houses a convertible Beach Mode area: a U-shaped lounge with a removable table by day and a 1.7-metre-wide bed by night, with a garage accessible from outside. Onboard systems include an 820 Ah battery bank, a 3,000-watt inverter and a 180-litre fresh water tank.

Hymer held a Learning Xperience session on 3 November 2026 at the Mercedes-Benz Offroad Driving Events site in Maselheim, Germany. The 35,000 m² course features slopes, holes, rocks and water obstacles. Five 4x4 models based on the Mercedes Sprinter took part: two camper vans, the Grand Canyon S 600 and Grand Canyon S 600 Crossover, and three coachbuilt models, the Venture S, ML-T 570 Crossover and ML-T 580 Crosstrail. The combined value of the vehicles approaches one million euros. Participants practised hill climbs and descents, including the DSR system that limits downhill speed to 4 km/h without driver braking. No vehicle got stuck or was damaged during the day.

A show vehicle based on the Noah Camper Platin is on sale for €215,000 instead of €242,000, a saving of €27,000. The camper van is built on a Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 with 190 PS and a nine-speed automatic, and features an inflatable X-Gloo roof with air chambers 8 to 15 cm thick that withstands winds up to 61 km/h and opens in under two minutes. It measures 6.97 m long, 2.02 m wide and 2.65 m high, with a gross weight of 4.1 tonnes, optionally up to 4.7 tonnes, so a standard category B licence is not sufficient. The vehicle was registered in October 2026, has 2,800 km on the odometer and is uprated to 4.7 tonnes.

German manufacturer VanMe has built the Black Stallion, an expedition camper based on a 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter L3H2. Instead of a black-water tank it uses a Cinderella diesel toilet that burns waste to ash.

Westfalia has introduced the Nansen camper van range, built in France, and updated its 2027 model lineup. The Nansen family comprises the 600L at 5.99 m with bunk beds and a walk-through washroom, and the 640LS at 6.36 m with a pop-top roof and a bed over the rear garage. The Columbus on Fiat Ducato, James Cook on Mercedes Sprinter and Sven Hedin on MAN TGE continue largely unchanged, with the Sven Hedin receiving a 50th-anniversary edition. The Meridian on Ford Transit and the Kepler on Volkswagen T6.1 have been discontinued. The 6.36 m Columbus Liner on Fiat Ducato, with three levels and an optional Sky Lounge terrace, is priced at 104,999 €.

Benchmark Vehicles has unveiled the Jack, a camper van conversion based on a 2024 Mercedes Sprinter with a 170 wheelbase and all-wheel drive. The model belongs to the class of large camper van conversions and offers more interior space than compact campers. All-wheel drive extends usability to unpaved roads and snowy conditions. No exact price has been published; it is available on request from Benchmark Vehicles.

Malibu extends the standard Mercedes Sprinter body by about 40 cm with a glass-fibre sandwich construction to accommodate longitudinal beds. The 1.7-metre rear overhang on the 6.4-metre van looks awkward, but the short 3.67-metre wheelbase provides good manoeuvrability. The rear-wheel-drive Genius starts at €95,460, though two mandatory packages and the near-unavoidable Chassis-Plus package raise the price considerably. The Performance 4x4 version is intended for off-road trips.

Activan from Reno, Nevada, has converted a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with all-wheel drive and a 170-inch wheelbase into a camper van called Land Yacht. The vehicle features a Super Pacific Cloud Cap roof tent with a mattress for two, a Fiamma F45S awning and a forward-facing LED light bar. The interior has a maritime theme with holly and teak flooring, navy laminated cabinets and a ceiling of cherry wood slats. The kitchen includes an induction hob, a fridge with a small freezer and a multifunction oven. At the rear there is a fixed queen-size bed with a memory foam mattress, a bathroom with a Laveo dry-flush toilet and a shower. Power comes from a 300 Ah battery bank expandable to 1000 Ah and a 3000 W inverter. Fresh water capacity is 159 litres, waste water 76 litres.

Levity Vans, a Santa Cruz, California-based company, has presented the Peanut Butter camper van built on a 2022 4x4 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a 144-inch wheelbase. The interior uses bamboo plywood for cabinetry and a headliner shelf. The van has a 400 W solar array, a 300 Ah BattleBorn battery bank, a 3,000 W inverter, a 102-litre freshwater tank and a 41-litre greywater tank. Levity Vans ceased operations after nine years due to market changes and financial pressures.

FRANKIA has introduced the NEO range on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The model comes in two body variants: the semi-integrated Cruiser and the integrated Liner, both with an automatic gearbox as standard. Length starts at 6.6 m, and the technically permissible maximum mass is 3.5 or 4.5 tonnes. A double floor measuring 20 to 40 cm in height and a garage with 1.20 m of internal height increase usable space. Prices start at 106,900 euros for the Cruiser and 119,900 euros for the Liner.

AVC RIG, a Loveland, Colorado-based company, has presented a converted camper van based on a 2025 Ford Transit High Roof Extended. The rear holds twin beds measuring 66 centimetres wide and 203 centimetres long, while a shower with a curtain is concealed inside a cabinet behind the driver's seat. Power comes from a 5 kW EcoFlow system expandable to 10 kW, and freshwater is stored in a 113-litre tank. The company also sells conversion parts for Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models.

A technical unit of Mar del Plata municipality has issued a report supporting a draft ordinance that would allow motorhomes weighing up to 3,500 kg to park during the day in coastal areas. The report was prepared by the Observatorio Vial department at the request of the city council's urban mobility committee; the draft was introduced by councillor Ricardo Liceaga Viñas. Covered vehicles include integrated, semi-integrated and alcove motorhomes and camper vans built on Mercedes Benz Sprinter, Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Jumper, Renault Master, Ford Transit and Volkswagen Crafter chassis; converted lorries and buses are excluded. The report proposes defining parking as a daytime stop with the engine off, no external furniture and no overnight stay, and suggests rules for waste water, electrical connections and drinking water supply.

Rossmonster, a company based in Longmont, Colorado, has completed a camper van conversion on a 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 with a 170-inch wheelbase. The customer drew the floor plan himself. The van features an Agile Offroad RIP suspension kit, CAtuned and Backwoods Adventure Mods bumpers, a Warn winch and two Baja Designs LP9 light pods. Fuel capacity is increased to 45 gallons (170 litres). The interior includes a 1,320 Ah lithium battery bank, a 3,000 W inverter, a 40-gallon (151-litre) freshwater tank and a 7-gallon (26-litre) greywater tank.

The After Hours camper van is a conversion based on a 2024 AWD Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a 144-inch wheelbase. It was built by Shane, an employee of Wollongong-based company Summit Vans Australia, in his spare time over almost two years. The vehicle features a Bilstein 5160 shock kit, upgraded rear leaf springs, a Weldbeat bull bar, a Wedgetail roof rack with solar panels, and a kitchen with a 65-litre Bushman's fridge. The interior includes a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a garage under the bed with a pull-out tray. Shane listed the van for sale a few months ago, and it quickly found a new owner.

Polish manufacturer Vannado has started selling camper vans in France. The models are built on MAN TGE or Mercedes Sprinter chassis with lengths from 6 m (6.80 m for MAN, 7 m for Mercedes) and come in three ranges: Karakorum with a rear transverse bed from €135,658, Ontario with an L-shaped kitchen from €137,187 and Altiplano without a permanent bed from €138,562. Equipment includes an automatic gearbox, a 6000 W heater and a solar panel, while a roof tent is optional. Wild Campervan, already distributor of Norantz, FurgoK and Bunkervan, is handling imports. The vans will be displayed at Vanlife Expo Bordeaux on 14 and 15 November 2026.

Dynamax has converted a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500XD into the Isata 3 Series motorhome with an alcove and a side slide-out. The 2023 vehicle has about 12,070 km on the odometer and is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel producing 138 kW and 441 Nm, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The motorhome measures 7.49 m long and 3.66 m high, with a queen-size bed at the rear and an additional sleeping place in the alcove. In an online auction, 52 bids were placed and the highest offer reached $80,500, but it remained below the reserve price and the vehicle was not sold.

White River Overland, a company based in Aspen, Colorado, has presented the Boreas camper van, a conversion of a 2024 all-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a 144-inch wheelbase. The vehicle features 17-inch Reika Rambler wheels with Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tyres, a Van Compass Stage 4.3 suspension kit with Falcon shocks, a 225 W solar array and a Starlink antenna. The interior includes a Murphy bed, a split kitchen with a fridge and microwave, a Laveo dry-flush toilet and a hidden shower. A 48 V power system provides 7.2 kWh of capacity with a 3,000 W inverter, and the freshwater tank holds 113 litres.

KEC Motors has shown the Mountaineer Grand Expedition off-road camper van at the Caravan Salon. It is based on a seven-metre Mercedes Sprinter and has an open lounge, a diesel ceramic hob and a space-saving bathroom.

Hymer has introduced the ML-T 570 Crossover 4×4 motorhome built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter platform. The model measures 6.74 metres long, 2.22 metres wide and 2.92 metres high, with a wheelbase of 3.67 metres. The layout includes two longitudinal single beds, a kitchen with a fridge, a bathroom and a garage, and interior height is 1.98 metres. Water capacity is 120 litres fresh and 100 litres waste, and a 6 kW diesel heater is fitted. According to the manufacturer, the 4×4 version can operate for up to 10 days without external supplies. The base model starts at €117,490, while Caravanas Sangar lists the 4×4 version at €167,850.
