Record quarter for RVs
Hyundai Motor's revenue from RV sales (SUVs and minivans) in the first quarter of 2026 reached 9.565 trillion won, 1.9 times the revenue from passenger cars (5.101 trillion won). The gap is especially pronounced in export markets: RV exports hit 6.710 trillion won (up 2.5%), while passenger car exports fell 9.4% to 2.703 trillion won. The share of RVs in Hyundai's total exports rose from 49.4% to 58.6% year-on-year.
Growth drivers
Key drivers include the launch of the new Palisade and the electric SUV Ioniq 9, as well as the planned expansion of the lineup with the Ioniq 3 (for Europe) and compact SUVs for India.
