The South Korean city of Wonju launches a pilot K-drone delivery service for campsite visitors on June 13. The service will expand from two to five campsites, with increased frequency during peak season.

LG Electronics plans to integrate its AI Home platform into vehicles, turning them into personalized living spaces. The Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education (South Korea) announced the first semester of the 2026 family camping program 'On(溫) Family, Heart ON(溫)'. It will be held at four auto-camping sites built on former school grounds, including a new site in Yeongju. A total of 15 sessions are planned per year: 6 in the first semester (June 6 – July 5) and 9 in the second (September 5 – October 25). Priority is given to families who have not participated in camps over the past 5 years and those in need of educational support.

The auto camping site at Daeyul Resort in Gimje, North Jeolla Province, has become a regional camping hotspot in its first year. Weekend reservations exceed 90% during early summer peak season. The site offers deck and gravel pitches as well as caravans. Its location near National Road No. 1 attracts visitors from nearby cities like Jeonju and Iksan. A children's adventure park nearby has boosted family tourism. The city has added restrooms and continues to improve facilities.

In an episode of EBS show 'Seo Jang-hoon's Millionaire Neighbor', the hosts visit a private campsite owned by Ra Je-geon, whose company controls 90% of the global premium tent pole market. Ra Je-geon, dubbed the 'King of Tents', has designed over 3,000 tent models in 38 years. The program features Seo and Jang testing an ultra-light camping chair that supports up to 200 kg and exploring a tent equipped with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and cinema room.
