Fire at camper factory in Hwaseong
On October 8 around 11:13 a.m., a fire broke out at a camper manufacturing plant in Paltan-myeon, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. The Gyeonggi Provincial Fire Service dispatched 23 vehicles and 57 firefighters to extinguish the blaze.
All five people inside the building evacuated, and no injuries were reported. Of the three factory buildings, one was completely destroyed and two sustained partial damage. Police plan to determine the cause after the fire is fully extinguished.
According to another source, 14 vehicles and 37 personnel were deployed to fight the fire. At 11:37 a.m., city authorities sent an emergency alert warning of heavy smoke and asking residents to close their windows.
