Hyundai Motor and Kia posted record sales in India in the first quarter of 2025, selling 166,578 and 84,325 vehicles respectively. Their combined quarterly sales exceeded 250,000 units for the first time. The growth was driven by a strategy focused on recreational vehicles (RVs), including SUVs and crossovers. Cumulative RV sales for both companies in India surpassed 4 million units.
