Since August 28, revised regulations allow fines and towing for vehicles continuously parked for over a month in free public parking lots in South Korea. However, no fines or towing have been recorded at the coastal public parking lot along Donghaean-ro near Jeongja Mongdol Beach in Ulsan's Dong-gu district. The difficulty lies in proving continuous parking, as camper and caravan owners move out and return. Authorities are currently issuing notices and requesting voluntary relocation.
