Hyundai Motor's revenue from RV (recreational vehicles, including SUVs and minivans) in the first quarter of 2026 amounted to 9.56 trillion won, 1.9 times higher than revenue from passenger cars (5.1 trillion won). The RV share of total company sales reached 58.6%, up 9.2 percentage points from the previous year.

Exports

The gap is especially pronounced in exports: RV brought in 6.71 trillion won (up 2.5%), while passenger car exports fell 9.4% to 2.7 trillion won. The RV share of Hyundai's total exports reached 58.6%, compared to 49.4% a year earlier.

The company is betting on large SUVs (Palisade, Ioniq 9) and electric vehicles, and plans to expand compact SUV sales in India.
