According to Hyundai Motor's quarterly report, in Q1 2026 revenue from RV (recreational vehicles, including SUVs and minivans) sales reached 9.5654 trillion won, up 0.6% year-on-year. Passenger car sales fell 4.2% to 5.1007 trillion won. Thus, RV revenue was 1.9 times higher than that of passenger cars.
The gap is especially pronounced in exports: RV exports totaled 6.7104 trillion won (up 2.5%), while passenger car exports dropped 9.4% to 2.7029 trillion won. RV's share of Hyundai's total exports rose to 58.6% from 49.4% a year earlier. The company is expanding its RV lineup with large SUVs (Palisade) and electric models (Ioniq 9), and plans to boost exports to Europe and India.
