On August 19 at around 9:55 AM, a camping caravan parked at the public parking lot near Amnam Park in Busan caught fire. The blaze was extinguished in about 20 minutes, causing an estimated 5 million won in property damage. No injuries were reported.
According to fire authorities, the fire started from a power bank that was charging on the floor near the bed. The caravan owner said he left the portable battery charging and walked away. Police and firefighters are investigating the exact cause.
