The Beypazarı municipality has announced a ban on camping, tent pitching and caravan stays at the Karagöl recreation area until September 30, 2026. The ban is part of forest fire prevention measures adopted by the Bolu governorate, within whose borders the area lies. Picnicking is allowed only between 10:00 and 20:00.
The Izmir Camping and Caravan Association has called on authorities to establish safe, well-equipped and environmentally friendly caravan parks and campsites in the city. It cited caravan-friendly camping areas in Tunceli Ovacik, created by Governor Şefik Aygöl, as an example. The association expressed readiness to cooperate for the sustainable development of caravan tourism in Izmir.

Turkish firm Ortsan Outdoor has launched the Mini House, a 4-meter-long, 2.1-meter-wide travel trailer that expands its floor area from 8.4 to 20.3–20.4 square meters via a lateral accordion-like system. A 65-year-old man, Yüksel Keskin, who lived alone in a caravan in Kepez district of Antalya, was found dead after a relative grew concerned when unable to reach him. The body was discovered in the evening on a vacant lot on PTT Street in Altınova Düden neighborhood. Police and medical teams responded; the municipal coroner deemed the death suspicious, and the body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy. An investigation is ongoing.

The municipality of Ayvalık announced a ban on long-term and disorderly caravan parking in coastal areas, parks, and along roadsides. The decision follows a UKOME regulation. The measure aims to preserve public order, protect the environment, and ensure traffic and pedestrian safety. Joint patrols with gendarmerie will continue at Altınova, Badavut, Sarımsaklı beaches, Çamlık, and Cunda Patricia areas.
