Turkish company Saly Caravan has introduced the semi-integrated Mageya 8.00 S-FX motorhome, featuring a slide-out that extends the living space sideways by up to 80 cm. The model is available on MAN TGE or Iveco Daily chassis, measures between 7.50 and 8.00 meters in length, and starts at €185,000. Slide-outs are typically found only in large, expensive liners and are extremely rare in the semi-integrated class. The camper offers up to four berths, a kitchen unit, a dry bathroom with separate shower and toilet, automatic levelling with four hydraulic supports, a 410 W solar package, a 1,000 W inverter, and a 125-liter fresh water tank. It falls into the 5-tonne class, requiring a C1 driving licence.

Hasankeyf Caravan Park has opened in the historic district of Hasankeyf in Batman Province, offering accommodation for motorhomes. Located within the Hasankeyf cultural park area, the site provides infrastructure for motorhome owners. Use of the park is subject to a fee, with pricing and reservation details available from relevant authorities. The new facility is expected to contribute to the area's tourism infrastructure and make the district more attractive for motorhome tourism.

French couple Jean-Marc Garcia and Maite Menager arrived in Konya by caravan as part of their tour of Turkey and visited Lake Meke in the Karapınar district. The travelers set up camp near the lake, which they had seen online. Despite the lowered water level, the couple said the area's atmosphere impressed them. On October 20 they will leave Turkey and continue their caravan journey to other countries.

Turkish company Güney Karavan, based in Ankara, has unveiled the Minika 250 caravan, measuring 2.5 meters in length and weighing 450 kg. It features a double bed, a kitchen with a stove and a 90-liter refrigerator, and a shower. The price is €4,300, and sales are currently limited to Turkey.

Aziz Elmas, originally from Mardin, has been living in a minibus he converted into a motorhome for over five years. He works as an excavator operator and takes his motorhome with him when traveling to other cities for work. According to him, the motorhome has all necessary equipment for one person, eliminates rent and utility costs, and provides heating and cooling without issues.

In the Süleymanpaşa district of Tekirdağ province, a caravan caught fire at night at the Barış campsite by the sea. The fire completely destroyed the vehicle, no injuries reported.

The increasing number of motorhomes on Turkey's Aegean coast is straining infrastructure and causing conflicts over public space use. In Izmir, the municipal İnciraltı Çakalburnu caravan and boat park has reached 191 pitches, with new sites planned in Sasali, Pinarbasi and Karsiyaka by 2026.

From 7 to 11 October, the third Caravanport Antalya and Hobbyport Akdeniz exhibition will take place at the ANFAŞ exhibition centre in Antalya. 50 companies and 80 brands will participate.

Parking areas for motorhomes and caravans have been established at the Yoncalı and Ilıca thermal centers in Turkey's Kütahya province. The Yoncalı site covers 1,230 square meters and accommodates 11 motorhomes, while Ilıca has a 2,000-square-meter area for 14 vehicles. Both locations provide toilets and electrical hookups; Yoncalı also has a security point, panel fencing, and a disabled-access toilet. The number of motorhomes and caravans in Bozüyük is increasing due to high hotel prices.

Karaot Beach in Fethiye, known for its natural beauty, has recently seen an increase in motorhome density. Numerous motorhomes are reported to be staying long-term around the beach, turning the area into a de facto motorhome parking lot. Local residents and beachgoers say the concentration of motorhomes negatively affects the environment and use of the area, and are calling for inspections. Measures are expected to protect the natural structure and ensure environmental order.

At Caravan Salon 2026, the Carpento 430 D was displayed in Retro Grey. It is the largest model in Carpento's new C series, aimed at families of four to five. The interior includes a bathroom with cassette toilet and shower tray, a kitchen with refrigerator, and up to five berths. The base price for the 430 S is €24,990, with the D version adding €499 for overhead cabinets instead of an upper bed. However, the standard equipment lacks a hob, heating, and a powerful battery, and mandatory transport and registration fees add €1,990.

Turkish manufacturer Yıldız Karavan, which has produced caravans and motorhomes for about 18 years, has combined production and after-sales service at its technical center in Lüleburgaz. According to IMARC Group, the global caravan and motorhome market reached $65.4 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow to $115.3 billion by 2034, with a CAGR of 6.31% from 2026 to 2034. Europe had over 6.3 million caravans and motorhomes registered at the end of 2022, up from 5.2 million five years earlier. CIVD data show that in 2025, more than 215,000 new caravans and motorhomes were registered in Europe, including about 161,000 motorhomes, up 0.6% year-on-year; Germany led with over 94,000 registrations, while motorhome registrations rose 10.7% in Italy and 19.1% in the Netherlands. The company aims to expand into the European market.

Sümeyra Aydın Kasap and Özgür Yiğit Kasap from İzmir began living full-time in a motorhome after Özgür had a bicycle accident that broke his jaw. They spent about a year preparing the motorhome for full-time living, installing a powerful electrical system and heating. They estimate a similar motorhome with modifications would cost around 1,600,000–1,700,000 Turkish lira today. The couple said rent costs disappeared after the move, but fuel, maintenance, insurance, water and electricity expenses remain.

Karavan Park, opened by Antalya municipality in 2023 in Konyaaltı, continues to host motorhomes and caravans in autumn. Visitors from Turkey and Europe praise its infrastructure and proximity to Konyaaltı beach.

The Gölmarmara Municipality and the Gölmarmara Kalkınma Yerel Eylem Grubu Derneği held a camp and caravan gathering in Manisa. The event brought together local residents and nature lovers from across the country, with attendance by Gölmarmara Mayor Cem Aykan and District Governor Altay Karadağ. The programme featured a folk dance performance and a percussion show. Officials stated that similar projects will continue to promote tourism in the district.

The Niğde Camping and Caravanning Association will host a gathering at Safir At Çiftliği from September 18 to 20. The programme includes morning yoga, horse riding and evening campfires with guitar music. Association president Yavuz Şekerci said priority is given to children and families, so events are scheduled on weekends.

An Australian family completed a 24-day trip across Turkey in a rented camper, covering over 200,000 km. The route from Istanbul along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts included Gallipoli, Ephesus, Cappadocia and Dalyan.

An event to initiate the creation of a campsite for caravans at Akpınar Recreation Area in Gölmarmara will be held on Saturday, 19 September, starting at 20:00. It is organised by Gölmarmara Municipality and the Gölmarmara Development Local Action Group Association. The programme includes protocol speeches, folk dance and percussion performances by the municipality, and live music by the municipal band; at 23:00, a campfire gathering with conversation and music will take place.

At the Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf, the Turkish caravan Ankaravan 2.40 Micro was presented. The body measures 2.40 m long, 2 m wide and 2.45 m high, or 3.90 m including the drawbar. The European version has an unladen weight of approximately 440 kg and a maximum permissible weight of no more than 750 kg. Inside, there is a kitchen with a two-burner hob, stainless steel sink and refrigerator, a dinette that converts into a double bed, and a wet room with shower and toilet. An optional third berth is available. The indicative price is around €10,000; a solar panel, heater and toilet can be added as options.
