Gifu Prefecture Outdoor Tourism Campaign 'First Camping Experience Event'

Japanese manufacturer Whitehouse Camper has unveiled the compact kei camper N-Van Compo based on the Honda N-Van. The model combines the functions of a family car, a van and a motorhome. The news was reported by the magazine Za Rulyom.

The Nagoya Camping Car Fair 2026 AUTUMN will be held on 7–8 November 2026 at Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture. Adult tickets (junior high school age and above) cost 900 yen in advance and 1,100 yen on the day; admission is free for elementary school children and younger, while pets cost 300 yen for one and 600 yen for two or more; admission is free for holders of a disability certificate. The event will display the latest camper models alongside outdoor equipment and car-sleeping goods.

In April 2026, three trailer houses equipped with air conditioning, kitchens and wooden decks with barbecue grills were installed at the Hiezu Seaside Park campsite in Tottori Prefecture. Each unit accommodates up to four adults, with rates for two people ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 yen per night depending on the season. Rentals include sleeping bags, electric bicycles and pizza ovens.
