At Caravan Salon Austria 2026, the Austrian Camping Club (ÖCC) and Messe Wels presented the Camping Star award for the second time. A jury led by Georg Giner selected winners in four categories: Sportcamp Woferlgut (sport and active camping), Camping Sölden (spa and relax camping), Ferienparadies Natterer See (glamping and lodges) and Natürlich HELL – Camping & Aparthotel (sustainable camping). In the "My Favourite Campsite" and "Camping Innovation" categories, winners were chosen by public vote: gold went to Aufenfeld Ferienresort Zillertal and Secret Koi Garden – Ferienparadies Natterer See respectively. The ÖCC is present at the trade fair until 18 October 2026.
