Glamping (glamorous camping) is a form of nature-based tourism that combines the outdoor experience with hotel-level comfort — fully equipped tents, geodesic domes, treehouses, yurts or boutique caravans with beds, electricity and en-suite bathrooms.
The global glamping market is valued at over $5 billion annually and growing at 14% per year. Popular formats include safari tents in Africa, transparent bubble tents in Europe and luxury trailer resorts in the USA. European bookings are dominated by Glamping Hub, Pitchup and Airbnb.
