In Plettenberg, the Schellhas family has launched a fundraising campaign to convert their 1990s Hymer motorhome for trips with seven-month-old Zoey, who has DiGeorge syndrome. The disease is incurable, and the girl requires constant oxygen support. The conversion, including a photovoltaic system, inverter, battery, and portable oxygen concentrator, costs around €15,000. So far, €10,000 has been raised via GoFundMe.
