Jinju City Completes Expanded Public Parking Lot for Camper Storage

The Pyeongchang County Facilities Management Corporation announced special events for Family Month in May. At Gwangcheon Seongul Adventure Theme Park, free admission is offered for children under 13 (May 5), seniors over 65 (May 8), and people with disabilities (May 18–22). At Gyebangsan Auto Camping Site, a 30% discount on caravan rentals runs throughout May: weekday rates drop from 120,000 to 84,000 won, weekend rates from 150,000 to 105,000 won. The discount cannot be combined with other reductions.

Fire departments in two South Korean counties — Damyang and Changnyeong — have stepped up inspections of campsites and caravans since March, introducing safety kit rentals and equipment checks to prevent spring wildfires.

Ansan City Corporation is organizing a series of events in May for Family Month. Incheon City announced amendments to the camping ordinance at the Sudokwon landfill. The changes aim to combat fake reservations (cancellation rate up to 68%) and expand benefits for large families.

A church in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, opened 'Heaven Garden' and 'Grace Rest Area' on its rooftop and vacant lot on April 19, using caravans to create meeting spaces for parishioners. To address the lack of fellowship areas for 2,000 weekly attendees, eight caravans were installed, reducing construction and maintenance costs by 50–80% compared to traditional buildings.
