Caravan Parking in Wonju

The city of Wonju (Gangwon Province, South Korea) plans to establish two specialized parking lots for caravans and campers. One site with 80 spaces will be built in Musil-dong, while an existing lot in Munmak-eup will be expanded to 40 spaces. Both facilities will feature barriers, CCTV cameras, and fencing.

The project aims to resolve long-term parking of such vehicles in public areas, which has caused inconvenience to residents and affected the city's appearance. Construction is expected to be completed by May 2026.
