The city of Daegu, South Korea, announced a three-week inspection of 1,303 public parking lots starting April 8. The inspection targets long-term parking of motorhomes and caravans, as well as camping and cooking activities on the lots. Amendments to the Parking Lot Act, effective August 28, prohibit continuous parking at free public lots without valid reason. Violators face fines of up to 1 million won (approximately $680).
