A Chinese publication released three three-day motorhome routes for summer holidays. The recommended approach is to first define the traveller type, then choose a campsite, and only then plan the route, with daily driving not exceeding 2 hours. The primary route is the Kuche Party campsite on the Taihang No. 1 Highway, offering water, electricity, waste disposal and 24-hour showers, with a budget of 1500–2500 yuan; an alternative 300 km loop includes campsites at Jinghu Lake, Qingcui Valley and Xingkong Grassland. Budget travellers are directed to free camping at Guanshan Grassland or Fengning Plateau without utilities. Campsite fees account for 25–35% of total costs, and lacking water and electricity adds 200–400 yuan for hotel stays.
