Chinese companies Pebble and Starry Sky Dream House are developing motorhomes on new electric platforms with autonomous driving and integrated living-system controls. In 2025, self-propelled motorhome sales in China exceeded 20,000 units for the first time, with new-energy models accounting for a quarter. In the first half of 2026, new-energy motorhome penetration reached 18.4%, and camper registrations rose 64.2% year on year.
